AI-supported reflection

Works from your documented evidence only. AI does not invent facts or predict outcomes.

Some AI summaries are generated in advance from documented evidence to provide a stable view. Live AI insights reflect on the same evidence in real time.

Development tools

Strengthen your CareerID over time.

Evidence check

Review your achievements and skills for gaps. Are your strongest skills backed by documented evidence?

  • Look for skills marked Self-declared — can you link evidence?
  • Achievements without metrics are weaker — can you add an outcome or number?
  • Career breaks and volunteering count — document what you learned
  • The more evidence linked, the stronger your CareerID signal

Your skills overview above shows which skills are evidenced and which need strengthening.

Skills translation

See how your experience translates into skills-based language that employers and frameworks recognise.

  • ESCO framework — your skills are mapped to the European Skills, Competences and Occupations taxonomy
  • Employer language — AI translates your experience into capability statements employers recognise
  • Transferable skills — skills from one context (e.g. volunteering) apply in another (e.g. project management)
  • Non-traditional experience — caring, community work, and self-directed learning translate into real skills

AI-generated skill translations appear alongside each skill in your profile when evidence is available.

Reflection prompts

Coaching-style questions to help you think about your career direction and next steps.

  • What skills have you used most in the last six months? Are they the ones you want to grow?
  • Where has your evidence had the most impact? What does that tell you?
  • Are there skills you have developed informally (volunteering, caring, community) that you haven't documented yet?
  • What would you want an employer to understand about you that a CV could never show?
  • If you have had a career break, what skills did you develop or strengthen during that time?

These prompts are designed for reflection, not assessment. There are no right answers.

Support needs and reasonable adjustments

If you choose to, you can use this space to articulate any support needs, access requirements, or reasonable adjustments — in your own words, on your own terms. Nothing here is shared unless you explicitly choose to make it visible.

This is entirely optional. CareerID will never prompt, infer, or require disclosure of disability, neurodiversity, health conditions, or any protected characteristic.

What you might include

  • Workplace adjustments that help you work at your best (e.g. flexible hours, screen reader support, quiet workspace)
  • Communication preferences (e.g. written briefs, advance agendas, recorded meetings)
  • Context for career breaks — caring responsibilities, health, personal development
  • Skills developed outside traditional employment — volunteering, community work, self-directed learning

How sharing works

  • You control what appears in your public or employer view
  • You can share specific adjustments with an employer without disclosing a diagnosis
  • Sharing is scoped, time-limited, and revocable at any time
  • Supports your right to reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010 (s.20)

About AI coaching in CareerID

AI in this workspace is coaching-oriented, not advisory. It reflects back what your evidence shows, suggests ways to strengthen it, and asks questions to support your thinking. It never tells you what to do, predicts outcomes, or makes career recommendations.

Powered by responsible AI principles: evidence-first, human-led, fair by design.
